Healthy Communities Collaborative Business Meeting
Confirmed SpeakerCailean Kok is the Principal Planner for the City of Newark’s Department of Water and Sewer, and a co-chair for the Healthy Communities Collaborative, an interest group of the American Planning Association. Cailean is currently leading communications and public engagement activities for the City of Newark’s Department of Water and Sewer. In a prior role, Cailean lead research and planning projects on transportation and community health. She was also the project manager for a Plan4Health initiative in Trenton, New Jersey, where she collaborated with city partners and project stakeholders to develop New Jersey’s first Health and Wellness Masterplan Element. Cailean holds a Masters in City and Regional Planning from Rutgers University and Bachelors in Urban Studies and Public Policy from CUNY Hunter.
