George B. Chapman, FAICP
George Bernard Chapman has exemplified the role of the planner as advocate and mentor. One of Chapman's greatest contributions has been to the City of Raleigh, North Carolina, where for the past 20 years he has shepherded the city through one of its most dramatic growth periods. He has also made several contributions to the profession of planning including serving as an AICP Commissioner, an APA Board member, and Chapter President for two different chapters of APA. Inducted in 2002.
