David G. Pitt, FAICP
David Pitt is a highly accomplished, award-winning, and influential educator; a well-known researcher; and active contributor to practice and the communities he works in. From his early work as a planner in the public and private sectors, he moved on to work as an extension educator and then university professor in planning and landscape architecture. He has taught, advised, and mentored hundreds of students and through his own engaged research and the ongoing work of his former students has had a substantial impact on environmental and land-use planning practice.
