Julie Ann Woods, FAICP

Julie Ann Woods dedicated her career to ski resort development, tourism and preservation, influencing and affecting quality development in the nation’s top resort communities. Her work includes comprehensive planning, policy development, affordable housing and base area development in Aspen, Snowmass Village, Mt. Crested Butte, Steamboat Springs, and Telluride. She served as Chair of the Resort and Tourism Division of APA and worked to nominate Denver’s Parks and Parkways System to the National Register, now a National Planning Landmark. Her leadership in resort planning has left a legacy of dynamic mountain communities for future generations to live in, visit and enjoy. Inducted 2016.
