Larry B. Morrison, FAICP

Larry Byers Morrison has created an exemplary body of work in the areas of inner city revitalization, new communities planning, historic preservation, and transit-oriented development. Using a process that he first articulated in 1972, balancing and interconnecting People, Economics and Placemaking, he has directed transformative plans ranging from the master planned new community of Irvine to the existing cities of Long Beach and Riverside as well as notable plans for Pasadena’s Old Pasadena, Civic Center, and Playhouse Districts. He continues to provide planning and architecture design review for the University of Arizona campus and is active in teaching and mentoring. Inducted 2016.
