Rhonda G. Phillips, FAICP
A community and economic development planner, striving to improve community quality of life and well-being is the focus of Rhonda's interdisciplinary teaching and outreach activities. Dedicated teaching and mentoring is the foundation of her work, which helps to increase diversity and inclusion. Fostering sustainable development and economic revitalization, her work has primarily focused on underserved U.S. communities. She holds three Fulbright awards, enabling community-based planning work to teach, design, and implement innovative planning for community revitalization. She has mentored numerous students and colleagues to win awards, and to join her to connect planning to quality of life and community development. Inducted 2016.
