Ellen J. Greenberg, FAICP
Ellen Greenberg's work is focused at the complex intersection of land use, transportation, and urban design. Her 25-year San Francisco-based consulting career has been complemented by national work as director of research for the Congress for the New Urbanism. State- and regional-level work includes the California Department of Transportation's Smart Mobility Framework and the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority's first Transportation–Land Use Integration Program. In Contra Costa County, California, Ellen created a workable implementation for a 1989 ballot-box growth management measure, and in 2011, she is leading reuse planning for the 5,000+ acre decommissioned Concord Naval Weapons Station.
