Craig Lewis has for more than two decades worked with communities, developers, and institutions to realize the full range of benefits that flow from fully urban, walkable downtowns, neighborhoods, and suburban centers. His state, regional, and national award-winning work has attracted hundreds of millions of dollars in high-quality urban investment to communities throughout the Southeast and Midwest. His greatest impact has been in the Carolinas and in particular the Charlotte region, where his plans and form-based codes formed the framework for a revolution in thinking about how we can build our cities and towns in a more sustainable and resilient manner.
