Toby Fauver’s career exemplifies the principles and values of public engagement, information sharing, environmental protection, and long-range benefits. Toby’s use of charrettes, public and elected official engagement, and agency and private coordination has been crucial for achieving transportation improvements in Pennsylvania and in the nine states along the Northeast Corridor. Highlights of these improvements are ADA-compliant rail stations that advance broad community objectives, affordable transportation options that exceed ADA requirements for persons with disabilities, and stability of Pennsylvania’s public transportation systems through consolidation and energy efficiency initiatives. Fauver is dedicated to improving communities through transportation planning and sustainable investment. Inducted in 2016.
