Salt Lake County has retained SearchWide Global to find a seasoned, politically savvy executive to serve as the new Executive Director - Salt Palace/ Downtown Revitalization, a full-time appointed position reporting directly to the County Mayor.

This senior-level role will lead Salt Lake County's involvement in the ambitious Sports, Entertainment, Culture, and Convention District (SECCD), including the strategic renovation and integration of the Salt Palace Convention Center.

The Executive Director will oversee a high-profile, multi-phase capital project tied to the 2034 Winter Olympics — focused on convention growth, economic impact, and downtown revitalization in partnership with Smith Entertainment Group, Salt Lake City, and the State of Utah.

Appointed role; serves at the pleasure of the Salt Lake County Mayor.
