The city amended its 2008 net metering ordinance in 2014, which makes net meters available to any electric customer connected to Washington City's electric distribution system provided that the customer installs a solar, wind, or other city-approved renewable generation resource. Establishes a cap of 500,000 installed watts of renewable resources for the city. Includes an application for interconnection review, and a net metering policy agreement form.
