Solar Energy

This model ordinance was developed by the Alternative Energy Task Force of Lake County Communities in Illinois to support the use of solar and geothermal energy resources. The model ordinance provides standards and permit application requirements for building- and ground-mounted accessory solar energy systems, as well as utility solar energy systems.
