Accessory Dwelling Units

This model bylaw provides a template to help municipalities in Massachusetts draft regulations that encourage the development of accessory dwelling units (ADUs). It includes the following provision sections: purpose and intent, definitions, procedural requirements, use and dimensional regulations, and administration and enforcement.
