Learn how a group of dedicated non-profit organizations, resource agencies, counties, and municipalities pooled their efforts and resources to develop consistent green infrastructure plans at the regional, county, and municipal levels. This session provides an opportunity to participate in a small group discussion with the advocates, natural resource experts, and planners who made it happen. Learn how the Chicago Wilderness Green Infrastructure Vision is accomplishing it objective by providing a framework for county and municipal green infrastructure plans. Learn how dedicated regional conservation leaders facilitated county and municipal green infrastructure planning processes and how county green infrastructure mapping supported municipal planning efforts.
