Historic preservation can contribute greatly to a community, from shoring up housing values to creating economic investment and establishing community character. Not all preservation decisions are easy, nor do they always have complete community support. Planning commissioners and preservationists lead a discussion on how to develop good relationships between the two groups and how to incorporate good preservation decision-making into planning.
