  • Learn how planning policy is incentivizing economic development to reshape the Market Street Hub plan area to foster the creation of housing in this part of San Francisco.
  • Learn how environmental challenges specific to the San Francisco urban and natural landscapes have shaped the design and development of projects in the Market Street Hub plan area.
  • See an area of the city experiencing tremendous growth as a result of current planning policy and learn how it will redefine San Francisco’s skyline.

City planners, developers, and environmental consultants lead a mobile workshop in the Market Street Hub plan area to discuss the planning initiatives underway to transition this part of the city into a dynamic, mixed-use residential neighborhood. Gain insight into the planning challenges behind introducing several thousand market-rate and affordable dwelling units in the city’s downtown core, and travel to individual project sites in the Hub area that will promote the goals of the Market Street Hub Plan. The mobile workshop concludes with a stop at a local restaurant for refreshments.
