Solar Energy

The model ordinance was created for municipalities within Monroe County, PA. It defines mechanical equipment, solar access, solar energy systems, and solar glare (Sec. 1), states when the ordinance is applicable (Sec. 2), and permits solar energy systems as an accessory to permitted, conditional, and special exception uses in any zoning district subject to certain criteria (Sec. 3).
