Your firm is invited to submit a Letter of Interest and Qualifications to be considered for selection to provide Customer Service Training to City of Champaign Staff involved in the review and approval of development aka the Development Services Team.
The City of Champaign performed a Development Services Audit in the second half of 2023 and the final report was published in 2024. One of the recommendations of the Development Services Audit was on-going and continued Customer Service Training for the Development Services Team. The City of Champaign Development Services Team consists of highly motivated individuals with advanced skills, experience, and education in all phases of the development process from the initial phases of securing entitlements for development to the final stages of obtaining a Certificate of Occupancy for a structure.
The City of Champaign desires to be a leader amongst municipalities in customer satisfaction, and the City is looking for a partner in taking the employees existing customer skills to the next level. The City intends to use a qualification-based selection process for the procurement of these services (City of Champaign Administrative Policy 2.08).
