The City is requesting qualified and experienced consultants to prepare a scope of work to possibly amend general plan map(s) identifying hills and ridgelines, potentially amend general plan policies and programs regarding hillside development as necessary, update the City's Hillside Ordinance, and prepare documents for California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") compliance. Responding consultants should reference existing general plan policies and programs addressing hillsides and ridgelines, associated general plan maps, current hillside development regulations, and applicable definitions in preparing a proposal.
