Inclusionary Housing Economic Calibration Study and Affordable Housing Policy Update
City of Edina
Edina, MN
The City of Edina is seeking proposals from qualified economic, urban planning, or real estate consulting firms to study and update the City's Policy for New Multi-Family Affordable Housing, including both rental and ownership developments.
The purpose of this project is to develop a clear, legally defensible, market-sensitive framework for increasing affordable housing opportunities in Edina and integrating affordable housing into the City's broader housing development strategy. The updated Policy should evaluate approaches for integrating affordable housing into market-rate development, including the potential role of inclusionary requirements, incentives, partnerships, zoning tools, density provisions, or other strategies appropriate for Edina.
