The Ci The City of Bothell is seeking a Planning Manager to serve as a leader in its Planning Division! The Planning Manager will lead key Planning Division operations in one of the fastest-growing cities in the State of Washington, overseeing current planning functions to deliver effective, consistent, and policy-driven development services. This role will serve as a technical leader for complex development proposals, advance process and policy improvements, and foster a culture of collaboration, integrity, and accountability. The Planning Division offers a supportive and creative team environment to help implement the community's vision of a walkable, livable, affordable, and sustainable city. The Planning Manager may also be called upon to support the long-range planning functions as needed, ensuring collaboration across divisions.

The Planning Manager will build strong partnerships with staff, stakeholders, and the community to support thoughtful growth and exceptional public service. The Planning Manager will lead a team of planning professionals who are supporting the implementation of the Council Vision and Comprehensive Plan, managing the review and collaborating on public and private proposals including various right-of-way projects preparing for BRT throughout Bothell, build out of City parks including the Park at Bothell Landing, and housing and mixed-use development within the Downtown and Canyon Park subareas. ty of Bothell is seeking a Planning Manager to serve as a leader in its Planning Division!
