Solar Energy

The township's zoning resolution defines small, medium, and large solar energy systems as distinct uses (Chapter 1200).

Small systems are permitted by right in all districts, while medium systems are permitted by right in agricultural and nonresidential districts and as special uses in residential districts (§310).

Large systems are permitted by right in agricultural districts (§310).

Accessory systems are subject to accessory structure standards, and primary-use systems are subject to district development standards for principle uses (Chapter 450).
