Social Equity

This functional plan uses an equity lens to plan for a more sustainable future. It directly addresses why an equity lens is essential and integrates equity into each plan component: Community, Human-Made Systems, Climate & Resilience, Nature in the City, and Economy. Chapter 7 summarizes all the proposed strategies, actions, and measures.

Food Systems | Urban Agriculture

This functional plan addresses urban agriculture in its Community Element. It contains three strategies: creating land-use policies that encourage urban farms and local food production, ensuring that farmers and gardeners engage in safe, environmentally sustainable, and socially responsible practices, and supporting growers to create financially viable urban agriculture.
