Description
The Shasta Regional Transportation Agency (SRTA) seeks proposals from qualified consultants to prepare the GoShasta Regional Active Transportation Plan to strategically guide the future development of non-motorized infrastructure and programs in the Shasta Region. The GoShasta planning effort also includes preparation of an active transportation plan for the city of Redding, developed to meet needs unique to the city. The data collection, policy and program development, public outreach, and project prioritization associated with GoShasta will facilitate regional cohesion between project stakeholders’ efforts and prepare local agency projects for success under the California Transportation Commission’s (CTC’s) Active Transportation Program.
Qualifications
SRTA seeks a visionary consultant with relevant active transportation planning experience, who is familiar with best practices for non-motorized planning and engineering, and brings a track record of assisting agencies achieve success in the California Transportation Commission's Active Transportation Program.

RFP proposals will be accepted until 5:00 PM on Monday, August 8th, 2016.
