NOTICE INVITING PROPOSALS

1. Project Name: Lynwood Urban Bicycle Trail(Project)

2. Location: Along Caltrans Right-of-Way (Fernwood Avenue from Atlantic Avenue to Birch Street)

3. Requested Services: Architectural and Engineering Services for the Project.

4. Request For Proposal ("RFP") Intent: The City of Lynwood is requesting proposals from experienced architectural and engineering firms to prepare plans, specifications and engineering cost estimate for the Project.

The Project involves the conversion of the undeveloped Caltrans' excess land adjacent to I-105 Freeway into a bicycle trail between Atlantic Avenue and Birch Street. The trail features include native, draught-tolerant plantings, lighting for safety and visibility, permeable pavers and bioswales.

5. Source(s) of Funding: Funding for this Project has been funded in full or in part through an agreement with the State of California Natural Resources Agency
