Bid Recipient Description — Proposals will be received until 3 p.m., local time, Wednesday September 26, 2018, in the Planning & Building Office, 1290 S. Public Road, Lafayette, CO 80026 (2^nd Floor) Proposals shall be submitted in four written hard copy form and one electronic version on a flash drive. Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside with the proposing firm's name and address and "Lafayette Comprehensive Plan Project".

Project Description — The City is looking to retain a consultant to overhaul the 2003 / 2013 Updated Comprehensive Plan and formulate a contemporary Comprehensive Plan. The new Comprehensive plan will need to include a Community Engagement and a Public Input component; a Community Assessment; a Community Survey; an Analysis of Key Elements through a sustain/maintain/attain lens and a Review of existing Goal Elements as appropriate; a Housing Study; Land Use Map Update; a Fiscal Analysis; and Implementation Recommendations. Respondents are encouraged to create "teams" with other specialty firms and the City reserves the right to select individual consultants to create a compatible project team.

Qualifications — The City of Lafayette ("City") is requesting proposals from qualified firms with considerable experience in comprehensive plans and policy, community design, planning, economic analysis, and community member involvement/participation to prepare a new Comprehensive Plan. The plan will review various issues through a sustainability lens and make recommendations for future outcomes.

Pre-Proposal Conference — An optional Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday September 10, 2018 in the City Hall Council Chambers, 1290 S Public Road Lafayette, CO 80026.
