RESD-PMDB 2018-12 HISTORICAL RESOUCES EVALUATION AND CONSULTATION

CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES
FAIRVIEW AND PORTERVILLE DEVELOPMENTAL CENTERS
ORANGE AND TULARE COUNTIES, CALIFORNIA

Provide professional historical resources services as required for compliance with Public Resources Code § 5024 and 5024.5, the California Environmental Quality Act, the National Environmental Policy Act, and Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act for campuses, buildings, and structures located on Fairview Developmental Center in Costa Mesa, Orange County, and Porterville Developmental Center in Porterville, Tulare County. Services may include cultural resource inventories, assessments, historical evaluations, management documents, and other necessary studies.

All work shall be performed by professionals meeting the Secretary of Interior's Professional Qualifications Standards for Architectural History, Historic Architecture, Historic Landscape Architecture, Historic Preservation, and/or History with a proven ability to quickly analyze and conduct assessments and evaluations to comply with the above-noted regulations for districts, buildings, and structures to determine if the resource is potentially historic or in a historic district and eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places, the California Register of Historical Resources, or as a California Historical Landmark.
