Public Realm and Downtown Parking Plan

The City of Racine, Wisconsin, is seeking a multi-disciplinary team led by an urban designer with expertise in the areas of landscape architecture, traffic engineering and public parking to create a public realm and parking plan for its downtown. The plan will have three separate, but interrelated, components. We are seeking a re-design of Monument Square, a traffic design for our Main Street corridor, and a strategy for our downtown parking system, all of which will work together to promote our downtown as a welcoming destination, a place to arrive and stay, a thriving business and cultural center, and a place to call home.
