Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance and On-Call Planning Services

The City of Morgantown, West Virginia is seeking qualified consultants to undertake the development of a Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance (SALDO) to replace its current Subdivision Regulations as well as a variety of "on-call" planning consulting service assignments in support of the implementation of the goals, objectives, and principles of the current Comprehensive Plan. This initiative will have a strong emphasis on implementation and will build on the goals, objectives, and principles established in adopted land use plans. SALDO. The selected consultant must be able to show experience and knowledge of the specific requirements of West Virginia State Land Use Planning Code Chapter 8A, the ability to be creative yet practical in the development of provisions of a SALDO, and also have experience in developing technical and detailed provisions of a SALDO as specifically tailored to the implementation and continual update of the current Comprehensive Plan.

On-Call Planning Services. Additionally, the selected consultant must be able to show expertise in the areas of land use, planning and development, zoning, urban design, outreach and civic engagement, and process enhancement.

Proposals are due by 2:00 p.m. prevailing time on MON, 30 MAR 2020.
