The City of Fernandina Beach, Florida is seeking a qualified planning and zoning consultant, including firms or teams, to manage a COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE REVISION.

This project is intended to provide a complete revision to the City's Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Code (“LDC”), including goals, objectives, and policies. The City desires a consultant who has specific experience with comprehensive planning, zoning, ordinances, Future Land Use and Zoning maps, land development regulations, and public outreach as part of the revision efforts. In addition, the selected consultant should be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of innovative zoning techniques, architectural and urban design, land use law, conservation, and sustainable development methods.

FIRMs are hereby put on notice that no contact will be made with any of the City Commission members, other City staff, or others that may be involved in the selection process to discuss this request or to influence the outcome of the selection.

A written response to questions will be issued via Addendum and posted on the City's website at www.fbfl.us/bids and the DemandStar website at www.demandstar.com. It is the Submitter's responsibility to check the City's website for Addenda prior to submitting their RFQ. The deadline for questions is 5 days before submittal opening.
