NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

CITYWIDE HISTORIC PRESERVATION PLAN

Proposals will be received by the Planning Department, 710 E. Mullan Avenue, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, 83814, on or before Noon on October 6, 2020, for creation of a Citywide Historic Preservation Plan. Firms should submit an electronic copy of the proposal by email to shana@cdaid.org.

The Plan is critical to identifying historic resources in our community and preserving our community heritage. The plan will identify, prioritize, direct, and guide the preservation efforts of the Historic Preservation Commission, City Council, and City staff by establishing a 10-year plan for planning and preservation in the community. The plan will establish clear goals and priorities for identifying, evaluating, registering, and treating historic properties according to the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for Preservation Planning. The Historic Preservation Plan will also guide the activities of the Historic Preservation Commission, ensuring that its efforts are more valuable, efficient, and productive.

The City, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat.252, 42 US. C.§§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that for any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this request and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
