The Town of Firestone is requesting qualifications from planning and design firms to develop the Old Town Firestone Neighborhood Plan. This subarea plan will develop an enhancement strategy and targeted redevelopment plan for improvements to Old Town Firestone.

The Plan will assess existing conditions and identify opportunities and strategies to enhance multi-modal connectivity; a quality built environment; diverse housing; economic development and Old Town commercial properties; parking associated with Old Town commercial uses; community character and design; and natural, recreational and cultural assets. The Plan will guide land-use development, public improvements and encourage future public and private investment in a way that improves the quality of life as defined by community members. The Plan is to provide goals and objectives with strategies to achieve over a five to fifteen-year planning horizon.
