The purpose of this request is to develop a new version of the City of Urbandale's Comprehensive Plan, adopted in 2003 and last updated in 2016. This process will result in a new Comprehensive Plan setting the vision, goals, objectives, and policies that will guide the City's decisions for the next decade.

Additionally, the City has several critical development/redevelopment focus areas that require in-depth review and analysis to incorporate into the Comprehensive Plan. Therefore, the City requests your team(s) to also prepare three vision plans that would be integrated into the final Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan and the Vision Plans should run concurrently and capitalize on combined public engagement and project management efficiency.
