NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

GARDEN DISTRICT NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES NOMINATION

The City of Coeur d'Alene is requesting Proposals from consultants to prepare National Register of Historic Places ("NRHP") nomination materials for the Garden District.

The consultant/firm will be responsible for assisting in researching, developing, and drafting all nomination materials needed for submittal to the National Park Service, and to work in conjunction with the City's Historic Preservation Commission, staff, public, local historians and preservationists, the Coeur d'Alene Tribe, and State Historic Preservation Office. Interested consultants/firms are requested to submit a proposal. The nomination process is to commence in April 2023 and be completed by September 2024 to meet all required deadlines.

The Request for Proposals is available at www.CityofCDAPlanRoom.com or in person at the customer service center at City Hall, 710 E. Mullan Avenue, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Consultants must register with the plan room to receive any addenda that may be issued.

Five (5) hard copies and one USB drive of the completed Proposal must be received by the City Clerk prior to 12:00 p.m. PST on March 14, 2023. Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to: City of Coeur d'Alene, Attn: Renata McLeod, City Clerk, 710 E. Mullan Avenue, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814. The envelope in which the response is enclosed shall be labeled: "Garden District."

All information provided will be kept confidential to the extent permitted by law, although the contents may be disclosed to third parties for the purpose of verification, investigation of substantial allegations, and any appeal hearing. The City, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat.252, 42 US. C.§§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this request and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.

The right is reserved to reject any or all Proposals.
