Culver City, CA

The City of Culver City is in search of a vendor for the MOVE Culver City Quick Build Mobility Lane Project. The project consists of up to three corridors, which are in various stages of pre-planning, planning, design, and implementation. The three corridors include:

  1. Modifications to the existing corridor are currently in design, with implementation to the modified project (called Downtown 2.0) anticipated in November 2023.
  2. We are seeking consultant services to monitor performance and conduct public outreach after implementation of these modifications.

Corridor #2: Sepulveda Boulevard, between Venice Blvd and Centinela Ave

  1. We are seeking consultant services to plan, design, and implement a context-sensitive mobility lane treatment on approximately 2.7 miles of this corridor using a quick-build approach.
  2. A 0.2-mile segment of Sepulveda Boulevard north of Ballona Creek is in City of Los Angeles (CD 11).

Corridor #3: Jefferson Boulevard, between Culver City's eastern boundary to Sepulveda Boulevard

  1. Corridor #3 is a contract option. Similar to Corridor #2, we are seeking consultant services to plan, design, and implement a context-sensitive quick build mobility lane treatment along approximately 2 miles of this corridor.

The Project consultant team should have technical experience and knowledge of quick build approach for transit and bike lanes and multimodal planning, design, and implementation.

  1. Design will include schematic to final design and construction plans.
  2. Actual construction work will be under a separate contract.
  3. Vendor should also have experience with outreach; traffic and parking analysis; data collection, key performance indicator development and pre-launch and post-launch evaluation of the Project.
