The Town of Warrenton is a vibrant historic Main Street community with a high quality of life. Warrenton's 4.5 square miles located in rolling hills of the piedmont of Northern Virginia, approximately 45 miles southwest of Washington, D.C., serves as the county seat for Fauquier County, which is known for its protected agricultural lands and beauty. With a population of approximately 10,000 residents, the Town updated its comprehensive plan, Plan Warrenton 2040, in 2021.

The Town now seeks a consultant team who understands the unique nature of this region to help update the Zoning Ordinance to be in compliance with the vision of Plan Warrenton 2040.
