The City of Fruitland is requesting sealed proposals from qualified consultants to prepare a comprehensive plan that is fully compliant with the State's Land Use Article. The City's existing Comp Plan, adopted in 2009, is insufficient to guide the City's decision makers through the growth and development issues the City's currently experiencing. In addition, the City must revise its current Plan to be consistent with the new requirements to include a Housing Element that addresses affordable housing and also affirmatively furthers fair housing practices.

Sealed proposals should be directed to Marcus Henderson and received at City Hall by 2:00 pm. on February 21, 2024. Bid proposals will be opened beginning at 2:01 pm. Any proposals received after 2:00 pm on the stated date will not be considered.

The City of Fruitland reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities, and to otherwise act in the best interests of the City in all matters related to the proposed work.
