The City of Grand Forks, ND, is seeking a team of qualified, multi-disciplinary professionals in urban planning, architecture, civil engineering, community and economic development, and related fields for visioning and concept design services that will guide redevelopment of the former water treatment plant site adjacent to its downtown.

The consultant selected will be expected to use a team approach to combine public input and local knowledge with world-class expertise to create 1) a viable vision for both the form and function of the redeveloped site, and 2) an ambitious, actionable, and comprehensive redevelopment strategy for the area. An extended relationship is possible since the redevelopment process is expected to proceed in phases that will extend beyond the initial scope of this RFQ, to include additional planning, financing, marketing, design and construction options and considerations.
