The City of St. Louis Cultural Resources Office (CRO) is hereby seeking proposals from professional consulting firms with extensive experience in historic preservation, including the creation and/or revision of historic district standards, land use policy, and community engagement, to create a template that will serve as a basis for updating each of the city's 18 local historic district's standards, as well as for the development of standards for future local historic districts.

• The first phase of the project is a template to include a menu of options for regulating changes to the exteriors of buildings, as well as new construction and demolition.
• The second phase is to use the template to assist an existing historic district to revise its standards.
• The third phase is to to use the template to assist a neighborhood to become a local historic district.
