The City of South Portland, Maine is requesting proposals from qualified land use planning consultants for our Climate Resilience Zoning project (RFP #14-25). This project will build from the climate resiliency framework and recommendations included in the City's climate action plan, One Climate Future. It will include the development of a climate resilience overlay zone and associated zoning standards to address increasing climate-related risks due to sea level rise, storm surge, flooding, and high heat citywide. A successful proposal will be expected to leverage local hydrodynamic inundation modeling data and include a robust deliberative community engagement process in order to develop land use policy recommendations.

Proposals for Climate Resilience Zoning Project (RFP# 14-25) will be received electronically by the South Portland Purchasing Agent at mfitzgerald@southportland.org until 2:00 pm local time, NOVEMBER 19, 2024. Proposals submitted after this time will not be accepted. Each bidder must submit a single email, where the subject line clearly states "Climate Resilience" (RFP# 14-25).
