The Village is seeking competitive proposals from qualified planning firms with experience in successfully navigating complex community and site dynamics to achieve, through thoughtful, meaningful public engagement, successfully guide the Village through the SEQR process and prepare a generic environmental impact statement (GEIS) with respect to the environmental impacts that may arise during this process and different scenarios that will be considered. The intent is to provide clear, community-based guidance which a developer can translate into a pleasing, economically viable project to enhance the Village Center and meet local needs.
The Village seeks a consultant with the most relevant experience and offers the most extensive services for their proposed fee. Part of the consultant services are traffic and parking study, land use and zoning study, school enrollment study and aesthetics.
The Village may choose multiple consultants to complete specific topic areas of the GEIS given the expertise level required.
Proposals should note the ability to commence and complete the entire project within a 12-month period.
