The City of Thornton intends to create two Station Area Master Plans (STAMPs) to proactively guide land use, mobility, and infrastructure planning in anticipation of future commuter rail service associated with the proposed expansion of the Regional Transportation District (RTD) North (N) Line.

The STAMPs will establish a coordinated planning framework to support transit-oriented development (TOD) patterns that maximize public investment in transit, improve multimodal access, and promote sustainable, walkable communities.
