The ideal candidate will will be a solution-oriented team leader with extensive experience in strategic planning, organizational development, team building, mentoring, and program, project, and grant management with experience in at least one of the following areas: housing, homeless services, advanced planning, program and project implementation, and/or economic development.
An additional Educational Achievement premium of 2.5% will be paid for a Bachelor's degree plus 2.5% for a job-related graduate degree. This position will also receive a 4% salary increase effective in July 2024.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Public or Business Administration, Planning, Community/Urban Development, Economics or a closely related field.
- Six years of progressively responsible community development experience including at least three years as a division manager with responsibility for program planning and development, supervision of professional, technical and clerical staff, and budgetary preparation and management.
