This position requires an individual with a desire to be exposed to a variety of planning-related topics ranging from regulatory development and administration to comprehensive land use plans and policy documents. Applicant's should be self-motivated, detail-oriented team players that can establish and maintain positive working relationships and are experienced communicators verbally and in written form. Experience/exposure to work within a governmental agency and public engagement/outreach processes is highly desirable.

Description:

The purpose of this job is to provide project management for current and long-term planning and development cases by coordinating development review of planning and development applications including those for annexation, zoning, and subdivision of property, preparing reports, and acting as point of contact for the public. Serves as staff liaison for assigned committees, boards, and commissions including grant writing and administration. Conducts planning studies and public outreach.

Bachelor's Degree in Planning, Development, Construction, or related field. Less than 1-year experience in planning, development, construction, or related field.
