General Statement of Job: Under limited supervision, manages, supervises, and performs a wide variety of planning and technical duties including, but not limited to, long range planning activities, professional analysis and recommendations, research and report development, evaluates and enhances zoning and development regulations, development plan review and technical presentations to boards, commissions, and community groups.

Minimum Training and Experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Geography, Urban Planning, or related field

Experience: Eight years of progressively responsible professional planning or design experience with some project management or leadership experience

Certifications: Valid driver's license, AICP certification (with Urban Planning degree) OR Licensure as an architect or landscape architect (with Landscape Architecture degree)

Preferred: Experience with GIS -related software programs & AICP certification
