Requirements include: Graduation from a four year college or university with major course work in planning, public or business administration, law, or a related field; AICP Certification preferred; and three to five years of experience in urban planning, economic or real estate development, or a related field;

• Extensive knowledge and expertise in zoning, land use, and environmental planning, particularly in urban contexts.
• Extensive knowledge of governmental structure and local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to land use, zoning, environmental planning, and other urban development activities.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, cost estimation, and financial analysis, to effectively manage project budgets and resources.
