The Southern Georgia Regional Commission is seeking applicants for a full-time Transportation Planner I.

This position is responsible for supporting the Valdosta-Lowndes MPO and regional transportation planning initiatives. Under the guidance of the Transportation Director, this role assists with data collection, research, mapping, drafting plans, and administrative tasks. The Planner I position will also work closely with senior staff and consultants to help implement projects that improve transportation infrastructure and mobility as well as support regional transportation goals.
