The Henrico County Department of Community Revitalization is hiring a Revitalization Specialist. This position can be filled at any one of three levels: Entry Level, Revitalization Specialist I, or Revitalization Specialist II, depending on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is responsible for administering the Henrico County HOME Program, including HOME-ARP, and other plans and projects associated with these and other HUD programs. Learn more about our department at henrico.us/revit

This position requires the ability to work successfully with non-profit community partners, understand and administer various federal grant requirements and requires close attention to detail. Working knowledge of HOME or CDBG program requirements, housing systems, real estate development and GIS skills are very helpful.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service skills are essential for this position.
