The Town of Easton seeks a highly motivated and skilled professional to act as Director of its Planning Department. This position reports to the Town Administrator and provides strategic guidance and technical assistance to several boards and committees overseeing land use, historic preservation, and community housing development.

Duties include: Managing complex land use issues, development review processes and planning initiatives in alignment with Massachusetts General Laws, local bylaws, town policies and applicable federal regulations; supervises department staff; prepares and manages the department's budget, sets strategic goals, pursues grant funding and acts as a liaison to businesses, developers and government agencies. Evening meetings and occasional fieldwork are required.
