Summary

The Principal Planner performs highly complex professional planning duties in support of studies and projects; and serves as project managers for large scale, complex studies, and projects while leading teams of other professional staff and consultants. As a member of the Valley Metro’s Capital Planning Team, this Principal Planner will serve as a resident expert related to Federal Transit Administration Capital Investment Grant Program(s), associated regulations, and processes; including, but not limited to overarching FTA, ADA, and Title VI requirements.
